Extruded polypropylene biaxial geogrid with a nominal tensile strength of 40 kN/m in both machine and cross-machine directions. The heavy-duty grade in the biaxial range, for stabilising granular layers under sustained heavy loading.

How it works

Aggregate partially penetrates the apertures and is confined by the surrounding ribs. This restrains lateral spread under load, stiffens the granular layer and distributes wheel loads over a wider area of subgrade — allowing a thinner layer for the same performance, or longer service life at the same thickness. Under repeated heavy axle loading the benefit shows mainly as slower rut development.

Installation

Roll out onto prepared subgrade with joints overlapped 300–600 mm depending on subgrade strength; wider overlaps apply on very soft subgrade. End-tip and spread fill over the grid; plant should not track directly on the geogrid.
