Extruded polypropylene biaxial geogrid with a nominal tensile strength of 20 kN/m in both machine and cross-machine directions. Used to stabilise granular layers over weak or variable subgrade in light to medium duty applications.

How it works

Aggregate partially penetrates the apertures and is confined by the surrounding ribs. This restrains lateral spread under load, stiffens the granular layer and distributes wheel loads over a wider area of subgrade — allowing a thinner layer for the same performance, or longer service life at the same thickness.

Installation

Roll out onto prepared subgrade with joints overlapped 300–600 mm depending on subgrade strength. End-tip and spread fill over the grid; plant should not track directly on the geogrid.
